OPENCALL FOR PERFORMANCE ARTISTS IN FINLAND
One-Day Stand No. 6 will take place on June 6, 2026, in collaboration with Catalysti Transcultural Association. For this edition, three proposals will be selected by curators Aman Askarizad and Parsa Kamehkhosh for a series of performances at Asematie 7 and its surrounding public spaces in Vantaa.The call is open to all Finland based artists.
About the Series
"One-Day Stand" is an adaptable performance series designed to keep the scene active between major projects. Known for its immediacy, it creates regular touchpoints between artists, the public, and the city—serving as both an entry point for newcomers and a space for experimentation for established practitioners.
Note: For this specific call, we are not seeking music or dance-based works.

Artist Fee: €300 per performance
Production Support: A limited material budget is available to support each performance.
Documentation: All performances will be documented in photo and video
Selected artists will be announced on Friday, 20 May 2026.

The Other Side, is a platform based in Vantaa dedicated to nurturing and promoting performance art. It is committed to curating live performance events, and educational programs that stimulate dialogue, inclusivity, and collaboration within the art community.
Catalysti is a non-profit art association founded in 2013. Formed as a network of transcultural artists, it works at the intersection of activism and artistic production.
