The Other Side ry and Catalysti ry Present One-Day Stand No. 6 in Tikkurila
On Saturday, 6 June 2026, The Other Side ry, in collaboration with Catalysti ry, presents One-Day Stand No. 6 (ODS6), an afternoon of live performance art in the public space in front of Vantaa City Hall.
Beginning at 16:30, the event brings together Finland-based and international artists working across a range of performance art practices. Taking place outdoors and free of charge, ODS6 invites passersby and audiences alike to encounter live art in an everyday urban setting.
This edition features performances by Ionas Laine, Anni-Maaria Leppänen, Paria Mohajerani, and Antti Tolvi, alongside guest artist Rocky Meaney from Ireland. Bringing together artists from different backgrounds, the programme presents distinct approaches to performance art within a shared public setting.

One-Day Stand No. 6
Antti Tolvi
Antti Tolvi (b.1977 in Panelia Finland) is sound artist, composer and performer living and working in Turku / Kemiö Island Finland. Antti´s practice has been focused around just listening almost two decades now. By listening, Antti means listening, which is not only listening with our ears, but listening with the whole being. Just listening what happens in inside and outside of us. Practicing listening also inseparably includes practicing relaxation. We cannot hear very subtly anything if our mind is fixed somewhere. In other words, in this practice, we pay attention to human nature, while being sensitive to the particularities of space and form.
Rocky Meaney
Rocky Meaney is a Professional Performance Artist from County Clare based in the West of Ireland. He holds an MA Master of Arts in Fine Art, First Class Honours, 2024, from the Limerick School of Art & Design, Technological University of the Shannon, Ireland, and a BA in Fine Art Time-Based Practice, 2002, from the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff School of Art & Design, Wales, U.K. His Live Art Practice is firmly rooted in the areas of Time-Based Performance Art, Context – Specific, and Site Responsive Performance. Rocky works primarily in the mediums of Live Art and Performance Art.
Paria Mohajerani
Paria is a perfoance artist who often works with materials such as text, multimedia installations and interactive experiences. with a background in theatre she is eager to ask: where does a performance take place? in the performer's body? on stage? or in the gaze and interpretation of the audeince? Paria has graduated from Live Art and Performance Studies from the University of the Arts Helsinki and holds a BA in Acting and Directing from University of Tehran.

Ionas Laine
Ionas Laine (1990) is a visual artist working in Turku. He combines practical and theoretical work with objects and performances, exploring material-semiotic processes in which technology, language, and embodiment entangle as porous infrastructures. His main interests are rhizomes, thresholds and the acceptance of uncertainty.
Anni-Maria Lepännen
Leppänen is a performance artist whose practice is anchored in the urban forests of Helsinki. Leppänen explores in her works the essences of humans and the more-than-human world, as well as coexistence and interaction between them. Leppänen graduated as a visual artist from Kankaanpää Art School and holds a degree in cultural geography from University of Helsinki. She has presented performances at venues including Seinäjoen Taidehalli, Yö Galleria, Galleria Ars Pori, and the Kontula Electronic event.
